i had same problem in my town except it was in my own yard i got a ticket for no license plate on vehicle, so for the mean time i put a cover over it and took an old plate and put it so u can see the tip of it under the cover so you could tell theres somewhat of a plate on it and strapped it so no one could lift the cover.

lol no buddy bothered me anyway lol i had my tag with insurance car and reg. in the window i did have a local officer pull up stop roll his window down and yell up the driveway really lol i just smiled lol
