That is just the standard 5.0L HO block. Nothing special.
If you have a really REALLY good tune, then it may hold 400 NA. NO N20...Just NA.
BEFORE you build it, you need to measure teh little casting nubs on top of the lifter valley next to the head surface. If they are not equal, then use the block as an end table or scrap it for some cash to get another.
They LOVE to split in half. Internals a fine.. the blocks suck.
I had some split at 325 with a 100 shot after a few runs & with no juice some can get to 450-500.
Just for shits & giggles. I hooked up a 200 shot to a 89 GT. It didnt even finish spraying before the block split. I must also say that the cars were either running slicks or drag radials, so they got massive traction.
I've built girdles(lifter valley & mains) such & they DO help tremendiously. I would definitly recommed them in your build. They are avail just about anywhere now.

if it passes sonic test ,mag test and a good visual inspection of casting flaws, nubs and valley .then build it . get handy with a sanding roll.die grinder . clean up polish and chamfer the entire lifter valley . the get the girdles and studs top and bottom . with this prep it will handle 500+ it is the combined cyl psi and rpm stress that breaks em in half . ya gotta limit one to keep it in one piece .

if you heat em with a propane torch and melt a candle wax into the threads . tapping it around with a chisel and grabing it with grips will walk it out

Melted candle wax is the shit to rusted stubborn bolts!

And yes, broken Ford water pump bolts very common. Use some anti seize when you reinstall the pump.

If the bolt is broken below the surface weld a nut on it (plug weld) and the heat from the welding will help it come out. Now you have a wrench you can use.

Also you can try those cans of "air" for blowing out computers. They come with a nozzle like carb cleaner. Stick it in and hold the can upside down and spray the bolt. It will freeze the bolt shrinking it. Then use the chisel/punch tap out method. Good Luck. :banghead:
