Jim I'm to old to put some thing together and think; hey lets get the body work done first and paint it up everything will sort out fine!!!!!!!!
it is U.B.E.(ugly but effective!!!) let the winnings pay for the paint!!! i got way more winner circle pics with bondo cars and You Harveys hiding it than not!!!

U.B.E. I like it. My pos was in primer for the first 10 or 12 years I owned it.
I know you remember what the valiant looked like. Gold with red primer lines.

then my temporary fenders must let it fly!!!
i'm not afraid to put it up and take it when it comes down but wasting money trying to sort it out is not a option!!
200-300 ft with out bars on thew best day is my goal!
so i can get it to just ride it out on them for a 100ft each time!!!!

All I have to say is CAPTAIN REAM!!!!!! Look like they pulled it out of the junkyard but it ran 11.0's consistently. I'll never forget the REAM TEAM.
