motors in a 1990 f-150 everything ran fine up untill the day i needed to replace hoses on the water pump. . . . i got the bypass hose and the hose that leads to the heater changed started it up and the hose that went to the intake manifold (the little L shaped one) bust and sent coolant all over but i though it was ok . .. . started driving after i replaced it and it was acting like it was missing on a cylinder but everything was in the cap was dry and all my lines where connected . .. . . its still doing it mainly after it warms up i just cant seem to find whats wrong!!! at idle it goes up and down from 500-1,000rpms and it jerks the truck real bad at 35mph or so and input or opinions would be great thanks guys!!

idk the **** things got my confused i have had lot of opinions but i brought it on here cause no one knows this shit better then you guys . . . .. . .. it didnt go all over thow . .. . mainly in the area of the throtttle body. . . .. . . the little hose that goes to the efi manifold cracked on the bottom spraying downwards is really didnt look like it got to anything but its got me stumped
oh and also there is a plug located right above the bypass hose . .. .. i disconeccted that and another hose that went from the bottom of the throttle body manifold to the same little cluster as the plug was
i need a list of possible corrections . . .. and how ta do em

k i got the diagram but niether helped .. . . changed plugs . .. notta . . .. . . . . usually starts doing it after the truck warms up .. . . .. its getting alittle worse too rpms drop to about 200-250rpm and it died. . . . .. . .and took three tries to get it fired back up . . .. its wwanting to die more often but my fuel pressure sits at 35 and only decrease after you rev the motor up.

still scratchin my head here i need more suggestions

im guessing the the maf is actually in the throttle body? ive looked it up and no one else seems to have the setup i do . . .. . . its a dual intake throttle body . . .. . and i can really only see the idle control and another 3 wires that enter a black piece of plastic that goes inside thethrottle body itself

your 90 f150 doesn't have a mass air meter so don't get confused. Your truck relies on a more basic speed density efi it uses inputs to the pcm from various sensors to calculate air flow i.e. coolant temp, throttle position, o2 sensor voltage, engine rpm. as opposed to a mass air system which directly measure air flow via a mass air sensor. also if your 302 is a mustang motor its a h.o. engine that uses a roller cam and i'm almost certain a different firing order. pick up a haynes manual from your auto part store for a fox body stang 79-93 and you'll be set. also check your initial timing but don't forget the "pip" connector its the little gray plug next to the main distributor plug -very important.

sounds like the coolant temp sensor if u got water in there with the plug out it messes em up there cheep start there
