75-80 dragway

I was out riding around today and wound up at the old 75-80 dragway. The guys are working on it and plan on opening up in April. I was talking to the track manager and they are planning on running 9.0 thru 14.0 index classes along with alot of others. I dont know how they are planning on running the classes but it definately looks like its gonna be a fun track and they guys were easy to talk to.

Whats it gonna be nhra or ihra sanctioned
and did they repave?
I have not seen that place in 10 years.
I thought it was gone and torn up.

There had been alot of rumors, but the website was updated and should answer alot of questions,
www.75-80dragway.com. It is IHRA, will run 1/8 mile on Fridays/Saturdays and 1/4 mile on Sundays. Alot of updates are being performed now, and asphalt is supposed to be laid down before opening day.
