The rear is not centered.I put new tires on it today and one tire is in the wheel weld all the way and the other tire sticks out an inch or 2.I jacked it up and look straight back at the drive shaft and its not straight.I got a 71 nova with leaf springs. Is there any way to fix this?

depends on whats wrong , not sure about novas but mopar are purposely off center but sounds like something bent in your car if the driveshafts not straight
first off have someone follow you to see if the car is tracking straight
unibody cars can get bent over time from beating , roll bars and frame connecters are wonderfull if you intend to keep it long term
then you have to find where the trouble is , bent shackles ? warped or bent main leaf , maybe just worn sloppy bushings?
if you have ladder bars are they bent or binding ?
process of elimination

Well i tried to unbolt the rear and shift it over but theres a bracket welded on the tube and a bracket welded on the leaf so im think it might be the leafs that are bent. The passenger side quater panel and door are a different green then the rest of the car.Maybe the car was hit or somthing and the subframe is bent? Could that be? It doesnt look like the quater was replaced it looks all stock and unwelded
