PC Richard & Sons along with Englishtown Raceway Park packed the house on Saturday night with their first installment of the 2011 season thrill shows! These shows are insanely fun, where diehard race fans come to enjoy exhibition passes from many racing classes, as well as some awesome monster truck action!
On hand were Pro Mods, Jet Funny Cars, Jet Dragsters, Bob Motz’ Jet Truck, Nostalgia Funny Cars, as well as exhibition passes from the 8.50 Index Class and the Englishtown Corvette Challenge race classes. PC Richard and Sons brought out their cars that are regularly raced in NHRA national events! The folks from Hell on Wheels were also back again, wowing the crowd with their BMX stunts along the return road.
The crowd favorites as usual were the Monster Trucks, there were at least 8 of them, including Grave Digger Legend driven by Adam Anderson, and Maximum Destruction “Max D” driven by Tom Meents. All of the drivers raced each other in their first outing, then came back on the freestyle round and really wowed the crowd with some sky high jumps and insane cyclones on the starting line!
Benny the Bomb was back, blowing himself up in a Pontiac Grand Am this time. We’re not sure how old Benny is, but hope he keeps his act up for another 100 years as it is pretty exciting to watch!
Be sure to check out the photo galleries to see what we captured. The remaining thrill shows for the 2011 season are on Wednesday July 20th, Wednesday August 17th, and Saturday September 17th.
