carb tuning - idle circuit?

just curious , got the car running nice and consistent with the new pro-systems carb ,
starts at the first turn of the key and settles down to an easy idle right away but seems to run too rich at idle , the fumes drive you out of the garage in 3 seconds  and you can't be tying the car down on the trailer if its running
want to try leaning out the idle circuit

anyway , when your setting the four corner idle screws , do most of you shoot for highest vacumn reading or highest idle rpm ? or a combo of both ?

get the throttle blades to split the transfer slot and sneek up the mixture screws to get the idle and vacume up and lower the idle keep going till you cant get it anymore if your cam is big you will need more base timing to get it right .
